It’s another exceptionally thin list of new titles this week, but what it lacks in quantity it more than makes up for with quality thanks to L.A. Noire and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, both of which have seen large contingents of hype wagons deployed in their favor for the the last month or two.
Also take note that this week marks the first time there's actually going to be an honest to goodness “real” game being released for the 3DS, i.e. something that is neither a delayed launch title or some cheap ass tie-in fluff. But while there’s little doubt that Dead or Alive: Dimensions will be greeted with open arms by most fans of the content starved platform, it does raise an important question. The 3DS may well be the most powerful gaming handheld device currently on the market, but can it really handle the complex uh……. “physics” that made the Dead or Alive series so famous? Only time and a lot of VERY thorough investigation will tell.
